The Workforce Partnership of Shelby County’s mission is to align our workforce and education systems to respond to the skills needs of business and industry in Shelby County. Schools and industry will work together to build workforce training and 21st-century skills development programs that will prepare students and employees for current and future local jobs.

Deb

Executive Director

Deb is the Executive Director of Workforce Partnership of Shelby County. Prior to working in non-profit, Deb worked 18+ years in the manufacturing industry in business administration and quality systems. In her free time she prioritizes being with her family and friends, but she also finds time to enjoy reading, walking and a good movie. Fun fact: Deb completed a zip-line excursion with her family to conquer her fear of heights. However, she isn’t quite ready to skydive!

Kelly

Career Coach

Kelly is the Career Coach, who is co-funded through Shelby County United Way.  Kelly has 15+ years teaching experience in secondary education (history, government, economics, and student government).  She is a life-long Shelby County resident who is passionate about seeing students succeed….especially in Shelby County!  Kelly and her husband, Aaron, have three school age children that keep them very active. She enjoys reading about history/politics, shopping, Winans coffee, and spending time with family, friends, and her French bulldog. Kelly also serves on the New Choices Board of Directors.  Interesting fact:  As newlyweds, Aaron (owner of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home) and Kelly lived in the basement of a funeral home.

Programing Coordinator

Shelly is the Programming Coordinator for Workforce Partnership. Shelly comes with 10 years teaching experience, including the Career Connections teacher at Fort Loramie Schools. Shelly resides in Fort Loramie and is a life-long Shelby County resident. Shelly and her husband, Paul, have three grown children, one grandchild, and her family is continuing to grow. She enjoys shopping, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends. Shelly also serves on the Sheriff’s Advisory Committee. Interesting fact: Shelly went back to college to finish her degree and graduated at the age of 40 while raising her three young children.
